Fantasy 30 - Season 1 Episode 5

It's Monday and you know what that means... after the Monday night football game, the newest episode of the Fantasy 30 will be available for you to kick off your next week of fantasy football.  Your hosts EZ and the Ginny have another information packed episode for you this week.  Following their Apologies and Brags, EZ and the Ginny announce their Hot Shot of the Week.  We won't ruin the surprise for you, but we can give you this hint... Jordan Cameron is still the only non-QB to hoist the honor this season.

Of course you can also get the Ginny's Gamble, which has been perfect all season to date, and your must hear Starts and Sits, as you prep your week 5 lineups, and account for the four teams on a bye this week.  The Take 2 segment is back for another week, and of course you can hear EZ and the Ginny respond to listener's questions directly in the Consigliere segment.  As has become tradition, the show closes with our hosts taking out a contract, and executing a hit in the Whack 'Em.

Fantasy 30 - Season 1 Episode 4

T-Rich to Indy

By now many of you are starting to hear about the trade of Trent Richardson to Indy from Cleveland in exchange for a first round pick.  On the field this will have a big impact on both teams, but how about in fantasy?  Will this deal change your fantasy landscape?

It very well could.  First, lets look at Richardson himself.  So far this year, T-Rich has been disappointing, but then, so has the whole Browns offense.  Most folks didn't think too highly about the Browns going into the season, but they thought T-Rich could put up some points.  Now he moves on to a much more dangerous offense.  Because Luck is a very good QB, and he has weapons like Wayne and Hilton, defenses will not be able to simply shove 8 in the box to deal with Richardson.  The Colts still need to make some improvements to their o-line, but Richardson should have more room to operate in Indy.  More room should equal more yards, and for Richardson owners, more points.

This trade could also have an impact on some other guys too.  You would have to immediately downgrade Bradshaw now that he is no longer the starting RB in Indy.  This is the most obvious move.  But there are others too.  I think Weeden (or whomever is at QB for CLE) also has to get downgraded too.  Without Richardson as an RB, defenses can simply pin their ears back and bring it.  This will reduce the passing proficiency (whatever there may be) for the offense.  It also means a negative impact to the return of WR Josh Gordon, and a negative to the growth of TE Jordan Cameron.  Even further, you could upgrade all of the skill position players in Indy too.

One thing is for sure, this is a mega deal, and an early one at that.  It should have big impacts both on the field, and in fantasy leagues everywhere.  Never a dull moment during the NFL season.  And EZ and the Ginny have got you covered through it all.

Fantasy 30 - Season 1 Episode 3

So as some of you may have heard, the Ginny has either gone into hiding or joined the witness protection program.  Either way, with him unavailable for the week, EZ hosts this week's episode of the Fantasy 30 with very special guest, Effin' Kyle Frankman.

Effin' Kyle is the show's resident college fantasy football expert, and this week he brings his unique insights to the Fanatsy 30.  EZ and Kyle spend this episode talking about all things important to fantasy football fans everywhere.

Although week 2 is not quite sealed up, EZ and Kyle help you get a jump on your competition for week three, delivering their Apologies and Brags, raving on their Hot Shot of the Week, sharing Ginny's Gamble, pondering week 3's Starts and Sits, discussing The Take 2, providing guidance during the Consigliere, and of coursing ending it all with the Whack 'em.

Thanks to everyone who has been subscribing to the show.  The week 1 turnout has been awesome.  Our show has now been moved to Monday nights, so moving forward each week, the show should be available on either late Monday night, or Tuesdays.

The Fantasy 30 - Season 1 Episode 1

Well, as promised, EZ and the Ginny went live last night, hosting their first ever episode of the Fantasy.  It was a total blast.  Although we we over our 30 minute time slot, we had a great time recording, and we are looking forward to doing these weekly shows all season long.

On last night's show we announced our Hot Shot of the Week, did our weekly Start 'em / Sit 'em segment, gave out our opinions on current football headlines during Take 2,  served as Consigliere while answering some listener's questions, and finally closed out the show with our first Whack 'em of the season.
